We can offer a range of creative workshops using reclaimed materials both in indoor and outdoor contexts. Rachel and Guy both studied Fine Art at University and have been involved in exhibitions and collaboration projects over the past decade as well as facilitating art workshops of varying kinds.
Made from reclaimed bicycle wheels, this earliest animation machine is a great way to understand how moving images are created. Using a combination of old and new technologies, this workshops runs in tandem with our pedal powered generators to create a fascinating and creative blend of old and new.
Two re-inventions of classic hobby crafts from the 1960’s and 70’s but scaled up to 5 foot square. These drawing machines create fantastic geometric results and are suitable for children of all ages.
Using giant recycled cardboard boxes, children design and build their very own interactive play space. The boxes join together to create a maze of alley ways, courtyards, towers, rooms and doorways accessible to only to children. Once completed the structure can be decorated with paints and fabrics.
APE Project is skilled in delivering a range of art workshops within a classroom or studio. Activities have included print making, kite making, costume, murals, piñatas, life drawing and many more.
