We have two apprenticeship positions on our Children’s Bike Exchange Scheme (CBES) which are both currently filled, whom are receiving in house training from the CBES Manager as well as the nationally recognised CYTECH qualification in bicycle mechanics. More apprenticeship opportunties should be available in autumn 2014.
If you would like to get involved in any of our projects either as a volunteer or as part of a work placement program then please get in touch. We can offer a diverse and vibrant range of experiences in return for your commitment of one session per week for a whole term for a volunteer or a full week for a work placement. We are always looking to recruit new members to join our Management Committee which meets quarterly to discuss operational and strategic issues.
In addition, we sometimes require paid sessional staff to help deliver our workshops, preferably from an arts, play or environmental background, mainly during the summer months. Workers are paid by the hour and rates are based on skill level and experience.
